Roles
Interdisciplinary Laboratory
Uria Man has been enrolled since October 2017 on a Master’s in Art and Visual History at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he previously gained his Bachelor’s degree in the same subject and Musicology. He wrote his undergraduate dissertation on aspects of early mythological painting in 15th-century Florence, focusing on the depictions of Venus in cassone (chest) paintings of this period.

His research project as a Germany Scholarship holder examines the phenomenon of anamorphosis as a form of visual expression and as a philosophical metaphor for perception processes. It will address questions such as the relationship between artistic representation, viewer and reality.
