Roland Bolz is a Master's student of Philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and is working under the supervision of Dr Peter Koval within the project »Experiment and observation« on the question of the obstacle, in the widest sense of the word. He sees himself as a disciple of the French philosopher Alain Badiou, and strives to carry out and test Badiou's ontological approach in the interdisciplinary context. Roland Bolz studied Liberal Arts & Sciences at University College Roosevelt (Middelburg, NL), with a special focus on Social Anthropology and Cultural Science. He came to Germany because of his strong interest in German philosophy.
