Meik is currently pursuing a degree in Media Studies at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He has a B.A. degree in Media Studies from the Universität Siegen. He wrote his thesis on retro and nostalgia phenomena in video games.
He has been working as a student assistant in the working group »gamelab.berlin« since September 2016. His responsibilities include undertaking organisational tasks, as well as collecting and reviewing research material.
