Lisa O’Conner supported the project »Historical Structural Investigations in the Laboratory« as a student assistant and worked mainly with images of the Challenger expedition. This is also a subject of her Master’s thesis, which deals with the acquisition of the foreign in technical images from the Schlagintweit expeditions in the 19th century.
