Katrina Schulz received her Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies and in Art and Image History from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, additionally studying abroad in Vancouver, Canada. She received a Master’s degree in Art History from the Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Leicester; she wrote her thesis on the retrospective as an exhibition format, focusing on discourse and concept history. She worked for a number of years as a Student Assistant in the Cluster’s Management Office, where she currently and temporarily occupies Franziska Wegener’s post in Promotion of Early-Career Researchers. Together with Amelie Wittenberg, she is responsible for the Themenklasse group »Image Knowledge Gestaltung« of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship programme.
