Roles
Interdisciplinary Laboratory
Priority AreaProjects:

Jonas studied Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. His interdisciplinary education is complemented by both theoretical and practical experience as an IT business analyst.

His interest for the internet and web development lead Jonas to pursue a Computer Science degree at the University of Southampton's Web Science group. In 2015, he was awarded his Master's degree with distinction.

Following his graduation, Jonas worked in England on the development of a Linked Open Data platform and its data management and conversion tools. After a short stint at a Swiss web development agency, he joined the Interdisciplinary Laboratory as a member of the scientific staff of the Freie Universität Berlin supporting the ID+Lab project.

Using agile methods, Jonas is responsbile for the implementation of a semantic web platform as part of the ID+Lab project. A first prototype of a publication platform will capture the result of the research activity at the Interndisciplinary Laboratory. This “snapshot” in time will be the basis to explore new access to existing knowledge and to eventually develop a better understanding of interdisciplinary research and its impediments.
