Jana Johr

Jana Johr has a Master's degree and received a doctorate from the Winckelmann Institute of Classical Archaeology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her research interest is archaeology of the Roman Iron Age. After four years at the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Athens, she gained experience as a researcher and teacher at Freie Universität Berlin and most recently at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. 

Research interests

Ancient Roman mosaics in private homes and public buildings of the Roman Iron Age and late Antiquity, with special attention to movement in floor mosaics and their contexts.
